Ancient Cedar

This incredible tree looks so much like a wise old elephant to us. It lives with many other ancient trees at the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, and is said to be over 500 years old. Imagine the history this tree has witnessed!

We were lucky to catch this photo at the magic hour, when light is heavenly gold.
